چکیده
INTRODUCTION: Hip arthroscopy is an effective treatment for femoroacetabular impingement (FAI). Purpose of the present study was to report patient reported outcomes, hip survival retrospectively at a mean follow-up five years. METHODS: Retrospectively collected data on 25 patients with FAI minimum 42 months (mean 60 months) treated and labrum repair were analyzed. The primary outcome measures Outcome Score (HOS) Activities Daily Living (ADL) subscale, HOS-Sport Visual analog scale (VAS) pain. Patient satisfaction rated. Measurement joint spaces osteoarthritis (Tonnis) grading done preoperatively latest RESULTS: Pre- postoperative alpha angles 670±40 460±30. %76 achieved minimal clinically important difference (MCID) HOSADL %56 MCID HOSSS all reached VAS pain score. Mean level 7.5±1.8 preoperative Tonnis stage 0.9±0.9 which increased 1.1±0.8 (p: 0.046). lateral space 4.8±1 decreased 4.5±1 p<0.001. middle also from 4.5±0.9 4.3±0.7 0.04). However this decrease not statistically significant measured foveal (p˃0.05) (5±0.8 vs 4.9±0.7). DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Mid-term results show that after cam decompression, it possible say least preserved progression seems be delayed. functional results, scores are generally improved in line literature Keywords: arthroscopy, osteoarthritis,

Alterations in internal rotation and alpha angles are associated with arthroscopic cam decompression in the hip.
BACKGROUND Symptomatic labral tears of the hip are associated with bony abnormalities of the femoral head and acetabulum, resulting in impingement. These patients have characteristic internal rotation limitations, which can result in compensatory athletic injury patterns around the hip, pelvis, and lumbar spine. HYPOTHESIS Patients undergoing arthroscopic cam decompression will have improveme...

Arthroscopic subacromial decompression (ASD) is frequent operation on shoulder joint. Acromioplasty or subacromial decompression is operative technique for removal of mechanical barrier, which restricts physiological motion of humeral head, during abduction and external rotation movements of shoulder joint. This article explains a technique of arthroscopic subacromial decompression and our resu...
متن کاملDrug resistance: still on the learning curve.
For oncologists, the identification of the transporter MDR1/Pgp as a mechanism of drug resistance offered the possibility of finally succeeding in the treatment of patients with refractory tumors. Numerous laboratory studies in cell line models have shown that high levels of MDR1/Pgp can confer resistance levels of 1000-fold or more. These cell lines could be dramatically sensitized to chemothe...
